ALTARVOID makes clothing as art. Every design tells one story that holds two opposing emotions at once, and lives in the space between them.
Why a paradox
Most streetwear is a billboard: a big logo, a slogan, or a graphic traced off a moodboard and sold by the thousand. We started from the other end.
Each ALTARVOID piece begins with a story and two feelings that shouldn't sit together. What's Beyond carries freedom and burden. LURE., a baby playing with tigers, holds curiosity and danger. The design isn't one or the other. It's the moment you feel both.
How it's made
- 260gsm heavyweight cotton, silicone washed for a soft, broken-in hand from the first wear.
- Original artwork for every design, drawn for ALTARVOID and never licensed from a catalogue.
- Screen printed, with discharge inks where the design allows, so the colour sits in the fabric rather than on top of it.
- Embroidered wordmark. The ALTARVOID name is stitched, never printed.
- Small, numbered runs, made in India by partners we visit on the floor.
Who it's for
People who connect things that don't seem connected. Who want to know the story behind what they wear, and would rather do their own thing than wear someone else's logo.
Founded in 2026
ALTARVOID was founded in 2026 by Namish Gupta. Every design starts from an idea we believe in, not from what's trending, and is made in quantities small enough that we can stand behind each piece.
